Ever since the COVID pandemic effectively shut down live music around the world, Colter Wall has remained content tending to his farmland in Saskatchewan, Canada, and releasing the occasional album. Even after concerts returned in full force, the singer-songwriter has continued to shy away from any large-scale touring, instead opting for one-off festival appearances largely in the Western United States. Therefore, it was an exciting announcement last week when Colter Wall announced a run of ten U.S. tour dates in October and December.
The tour begins on October 11th in Columbus, OH, with a string of shows through Louisville, Chicago, Detroit, Omaha, Minneapolis, and Madison, WI over the next ten days. In December, Wall travels to Dallas for a two-night engagement at the Longhorn Ballroom before wrapping the trek in Durant, OK.
Despite Wall’s continuous upward trajectory, many of the venues are intimate 1,500–3,000-capacity rooms. That, plus the rare nature of Wall’s appearances, will likely move tickets quickly. Adding to the hype, Wall’s latest record—the reflective Little Songs—just put the country revivalist at #1 on Billboard‘s Emerging Artists Chart, as well as #75 on the Billboard 200.
Tickets for the upcoming Colter Wall tour dates go on sale on Friday, August 11th at 10 a.m. local time. In anticipation of high demand, fans are encouraged to sign up for Wall’s mailing list in order to access pre-sales beginning on Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time.
