How could a Dolly Parton cover of The Beatles‘ “Let It Be” get any better? Maybe if she had Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr on the track along with Peter Frampton and Mick Fleetwood. Well, that’s exactly what Parton did on the latest single from her upcoming album Rockstar, out November 17th via her own Butterfly Records.

Obviously, it’s pretty impossible to improve on the original “Let It Be”, which stands among one of the best and most iconic rock songs of all time. Add in the emotional weight of one of the last great John Lennon/Paul McCartney compositions of The Beatles and Parton faces an intimidating task. Luckily, she has an ace backing band with Sir Paul contributing vocals and piano, Ringo holding down the rhythm on drums, Frampton delivering a ripping guitar solo, and Fleetwood adding percussion.

“Well, does it get any better than singing ‘Let It Be’ with Paul McCartney who wrote the song? Not only that, he played piano!” Parton said in a statement. “Well, it did get even better when Ringo Starr joined in on drums, Peter Frampton on guitar and Mick Fleetwood playing percussion. I mean, seriously, how much better does it get? Thanks guys!”

“Let It Be” marks the latest preview from Parton’s star-studded debut rock album. So far, she’s offered the original songs “World On Fire” and “Bygones”—the latter featuring Judas Priest‘s Rob Halford—along with a cover of Queen‘s “We Are The Champions” and Heart‘s “Magic Man” with Ann Wilson.

The 30-track album includes 9 originals and 21 well-known covers, with contributions by Elton John, StingStevie NicksChris StapletonBrandi CarlileMichael McDonaldRichie SamboraSteve PerryPat Benatar, and many more. Parton took it upon herself to record the rock album after she was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame against her wishes. Following her inclusion in the Cleveland institution, Parton felt she needed to prove herself by putting out a true rock record.

“I guess I’m a rock star now!” Parton exclaimed at her induction.
