Phil Lesh will perform with a special The Terrapin All Stars lineup at Sunday Daydream Vol. 2. The second one-day festival put on by Terrapin Crossroads Presents will take place at Stafford Lake Park in Novato, California on August 27.
“We were considering keeping this a secret until the day of the festival, but Phil couldn’t wait to tell you all that he will absolutely be joining all of us at Stafford Lake Park for Sunday Daydream Vol. 2!” wrote the Terrapin Crossroads team in an email announcing the Grateful Dead bassist’s participation. “Phil is tanned, rested and ready to lead the entire Terrapin All-Stars set, which already features members of Dawes, Jennifer Hartswick, Natalie Cressman, & Grahame Lesh. We’ll see you at the park!”
Dawes’ Taylor Goldsmith, Griffin Goldsmith, Lee Pardini and Trevor Menear will team with Phil Lesh, Grahame Lesh, Jennifer Hartswick and Natalie Cressman for The Terrapin All-Stars set at Sunday Daydream Vol. 2. Melvin Seals & JGB, Nicki Bluhm, Scott Law & Ross James and Moonalice will also play the main stage at Stafford Lake Park. Additionally, the “Keep It Weird” Terrapin Bar Stage will host San Geronimo, The Incubators and Mark Karan, Alex Jordan, Elliott Peck, Sean Nelson & Burt Lewis.
The family-friendly event will feature the Camp Terrapin Kid Zone for children. Local food and drink vendors will also be on hand.

Last month Phil Lesh made a surprise appearance at the inaugural Sunday Daydream. Phil sat-in with a different Terrapin All-Stars lineup at McNears Beach Park in San Rafael, California.
