Big Something will hit the road hard from December through May as they embark on the Headspace Tour. The North Carolina-based band’s first major headline tour consists of over 60 dates and shares its name with their forthcoming studio album.

Headspace is due out on November 17 with its first single set to arrive “very soon.” Big Something shared the following in regards to their seventh studio album and first since 2020’s Escape:

The new 12 track album, Headspace, features a collection of songs exploring the human mind. Most of the material was written within the past few years as the world emerged from a strange moment in history. During that time we became more and more inspired by the ongoing conversations happening about mental health. As we release each new single, we are excited to spotlight several different non-profit organizations doing amazing work to help people navigate mental health and wellness. We can’t wait to share more with you including our first single very soon

Big Something — Nick MacDaniels (guitar, lead vocals), Casey Cranford (sax, electronic wind instrument), Ben Vinograd (drums), Jesse Hensley (lead guitar, vocals), Josh Kagel (keyboards, trumpet) and recent addition Matt Laird (bass) — launch the extensive trek with two nights at The 8×10 in Baltimore on December 14 and 15. The sextet then focuses on the Northeast through a show at Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Massachusetts on December 23 before ending 2023 with a three-night home-state New Year’s Eve Run at Raleigh’s Lincoln Theatre December 29 – 31.

After a few weeks off Big Something returns to the road starting on January 26 and 27 at Asheville’s Salvage Station. February finds the group making stops in Roanoke (Virginia), Charlotte, Atlanta, Birmingham, Knoxville, Nashville and Charleston. Big Something heads to Colorado next for shows in Telluride on March 6, Crested Butte on March 7 and Steamboat Springs on March 8. A gig in Boise follows on March 13 ahead of a West Coast swing featuring shows in Oregon, Washington, California and Arizona between March 14 and 24.

The next leg of Big Something’s Headspace Tour gets underway two weeks later in Ohio with concerts in Columbus on April 10 and Cleveland on April 11. Additional April dates are set for Buffalo, Grand Rapids (Michigan), St. Louis, Covington (Kentucky), Chicago, Madison, Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Dallas, Austin and Houston. The final stretch starts in Florida for stops in Sanford on May 2, Jacksonville on May 3, St. Petersbury on May 4 and then hits Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York City and concludes in Washington D.C. on May 11.

The Ries Brothers will open most shows. Pre-sale tickets will be available now ahead of the general on-sale this Friday, September 8 at 10 a.m. local time.
