Grateful Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann announced Billy & The Kids will play a pair of shows dubbed “Daze Of The Dead” at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on Friday, October 20 and Saturday, October 21. Kreutzmann, bassist Reed Mathis, guitarist Tom Hamilton and keyboardist Aron Magner will be joined by special guests to be confirmed at a later date.
Billy & The Kids made their Capitol Theatre debut in March 2015. Tickets for both “Daze Of The Dead” concerts go on sale tomorrow, Saturday, September 9 at 10 a.m. ET.

detailing the concerts on Instagram mentioned those in California should “stay tuned for a special treat.” Billy & The Kids took the stage last month for “Pier To Pier” concerts in Baltimore and New York City. Daniel Donato and Jeff Franca joined the group for both shows with Kanika Moore guesting in Baltimore and Sierra Hull sitting-in in NYC.
“I’m inviting all of you to my East Coast ‘Daze of the Dead’ parties,” wrote Kreutzmann. “Please dress in costume (if the spirit moves). @billykandthekids will be joined for both of these shows by some very special guests — I’ll keep you guessing for now, but I’m just over the moon about them.”
