Gary Clark Jr. has announced plans to celebrate New Year’s Eve at ACL Live in his hometown of Austin, TX.

A ticket pre-sale for the newly announced Gary Clark Jr. New Year’s Eve show is currently underway until 10 p.m. CT with code ACLNYE. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, September 28th at 10 a.m. CT. To purchase tickets, head here.

The only other performance remaining on the blues guitarist and singer’s schedule prior to his year-ending return home is a set at Gordy’s HWY 30 Music Festival 2023 at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort worth, TX in October.

The Grammy-winning blues rocker recently collaborated with Eric Clapton at the Cream guitarist’s Crossroads Guitar Festival, which hosted a number of high-profile artists and collaborations. Clark’s interaction with the festival’s host came during Jimmie Vaughan‘s tribute set to his brother, legendary blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan. The festival also saw John Mayer sit in with both Sheryl Crow and H.E.R. in addition to reuniting with his own blues trio (the man’s got range), as well as a a tribute to Jeff Beck featuring Stevie Wonder during Clapton‘s set, a collaboration between Clapton and Santana during the latter’s festival-closing performance.
