Goose’s fall tour continued last night with a show at Boston’s Leader Bank Pavilion. The band began the second set by covering LP Giobbi’s “All I Need” live in concert for the first time.

Goose and DJ/producer LP Giobbi recently reimagined each other’s songs and released the tracks as singles. Goose recorded LP Giobbi’s “All I Need” (not to be confused with the band’s own song titled “All I Need”), which appeared on her 2023 debut album, Light Places. LP Giobbi returned the favor by recording her take on Goose’s “Arrow.”

While the single version of “All I Need (Goose Reimagined)” clocked in at seven minutes, Thursday’s live debut was stretched out to over 13 minutes. Both instances featured Goose guitarist Rick Mitarotonda singing lead.

Prior to the cover premiere, Goose’s first set started with “Dr. Darkness” going into “California Magic.” The opening pairing led into a pair of “Lead” songs as “Lead The Way” came ahead of “Lead Up.” The final 40 minutes of set one were devoted to lengthy takes on “Earthling or Alien?” and “The Empress Of Organos.”

Thursday’s second set, after the aforementioned “All I Need” debut, was filled in with a 21-minute “Thatch,” a 16-minute “Everything Must Go,” an 11-minute “Feel It Now” and a 19-minute “Dripfield” closer. For the encore, Goose capped the night with “Hot Tea.” Watch the “Dr. Darkness” opener via the nugs.net livestream and stream the entire concert via the official Bandcamp release below:
