Billy Joel will perform at Long Island’s UBS Arena at Belmont Park for the first time on New Year’s Eve. The December 31st show marks the Piano Man’s first concert in his home region of Long Island since 2018.
Tickets go on sale to the general public next Friday, September 15 at 10 a.m. ET. Up first is a pre-sale for Citi Cardmembers running from Monday, September 11 at 10 a.m. ET through Thursday, September 14 at 10 p.m. ET. Buy tickets for Billy Joel’s New Year’s Eve concert via Ticketmaster.com.
Billy Joel last played on New Year’s Eve back on December 31, 2018 at Nassau Coliseum. The show was his 34th concert at what was formerly Long Island’s biggest venue. Joel has yet to return to the arena in Uniondale, New York.
UBS Arena opened in November 2021. The 19,000-capacity venue has been home to the New York Islanders hockey team ever since.
Joel next takes the stage this Sunday, September 10 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The legendary musician will continue his monthly residency at The Garden until July of 2024.
