With The Sphere at The Venetian Resort‘s Exosphere operational and the inaugural residency from U2 only a few weeks away, Sphere Entertainment is giving some lucky creatives a chance at utilizing the largest LED screen on Earth. This week, the immersive Las Vegas venue revealed new exterior displays designed by media artist Refik Anadol and the National Football League.

Debuted on Friday is the first ad campaign for the Sphere, a partnership with the NFL for its Sunday Ticket package on YouTube. Set to run through the entire NFL season—kicking off on Thursday when the Kansas City Chiefs play the Detroit Lions—the brand activation will transform the Exosphere into helmets from all 32 teams. Unsurprisingly, the first team showcased on the Sphere was the Las Vegas Raiders.

Also debuted on September 1st at the Sphere’s home on the Las Vegas strip, Refik Anadol became the first artist to utilize the Exosphere. The Turkish visual artist unveiled his digital installation dubbed Machine Hallucinations: Sphere. Like much of Anadol’s globally recognized work, Machine Hallucinations utilizes “collections of public data and machine learning algorithms” to create abstract imagery of space and nature, something the artist calls “AI Data Sculptures.” This piece prompts viewers to indulge in the movements of light and color and to consider “alternative realities constructed by invisible data movements around them.”

“I am extremely honored to be the first artist to utilize the exterior of Sphere,” Anadol said. “It’s so exciting to be given such an architectural and engineering marvel as a canvas. This opportunity aligns perfectly with our studio’s long-term mission of embedding media arts into architecture to create living architectural pieces that are in constant interaction with their environments.”

Considering the $2 billion price tag on the Las Vegas Sphere, the company owned by entertainment magnate James Dolan will need to sell a lot of ad space on what could be considered the world’s largest (and most famous) TV. The Sphere already displays a mix of branded and artistic throughout the day, with brand activations like the one with the NFL likely to start flooding in. It’s not all commercials, however, as each day culminates with a lunar display.
