Little Feat will soon hit the road for The Albums Tour, an excursion featuring two nights in seven different cities with classic albums Sailin’ Shoes and Dixie Chicken performed in full at each stop of the tour. Special guests have been announced for The Albums Tour visits to Nashville and New York City.
The Albums Tour begins at the famed Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on September 29 and 30. Vince Herman, Shaun Murphy, Mickey Raphael and John Paul White will guest during the Sailin’ Shoes plus the hits concert on the 29th. Then, Herman, Murphy, Raphael, Sam Bush and Jeff Hanna will make appearances with Little Feat as they play Dixie Chicken plus the hits on the 30th.
Little Feat brings The Albums Tour to Town Hall in New York City on October 6 and 7. Steve Earle and David Bromberg will join as part of the Sailin’ Shoes plus the hits show on October 6 before Southside Johnny serves as special guest on October 7 for Dixie Chicken plus the hits.
