Drive-By Truckers frontman Patterson Hood will go coast-to-coast this December for a three-week solo tour. Hood confirmed details of the 15-show run which ends with a three-night stand in Patterson’s current hometown of Portland, Oregon.
Patterson Hood launches the trek in the Southeast with concerts in Charleston on December 1, Jacksonville on December 2 and Macon (Georgia) on December 3. Next comes a stop in Nashville on December 4 followed by a swing through the Midwest for shows in St. Louis on December 6, Berwyn (Illinois) on December 8 and 9 and Minneapolis on December 10.
The tour continues in Colorado, where Patterson Hood will play Denver on December 12 and Fort Collins on December 13. From there the guitarist/singer-songwriter hits the California cities of Felton on December 15 and Venice Beach on December 16 before concluding the excursion at Portland, Oregon’s Show Bar on December 19 – 21. Tickets for the solo shows go on sale this Friday, September 22.
Patterson Hood is currently on tour with Drive-By Truckers. The Athens, Georgia-birthed band recently released The Complete Dirty South, a reworked and expanded reissue of their renowned 2004 studio album.
Drive-By Truckers pull into Warren, Ohio on Thursday, September 21. Hood and his bandmates will focus on stops east of the Mississippi through October 7 and then embark on a second leg of their fall tour in November.
