The Smashing Pumpkins continue the 30th anniversary celebrations of their 1993 album, Siamese Dream, with a recreation of their historic album release concert at Tower Records. Two acoustic concerts will take place at Madame Zuzu’s in Highland Park, Illinois near Chicago on September 17.

Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan and his partner Chloé Mendel own Madame Zuzu’s. The tea shop and art studio will become a Tower Records from 1993 with limited edition merchandise available for purchase in-store throughout the 3-day pop-up, September 14 – 17.

The three-day event culminates with The Smashing Pumpkins performances commemorating the alt-rock legends’ July 27, 1993 Siamese Dream release party at Tower Records Chicago, which took place at midnight and drew over 3,000 fans forcing the police to shut down the street. The in-store performance helped propel the record to 4x platinum status and No. 10 on the Billboard album chart.

A limited number of tickets for the recreation of Smashing Pumpkins’ historic Tower Records concert are available now.
