Big Something and Andy Frasco deepened their bromance on Friday with the release of a collaborative new single, “Clouds”. The track from the one-time tourmates/Royal Rumble wrestling opponents will appear on Big Something’s upcoming album, Headspace, out November 17th.

“Clouds” finds common ground between Big Something and Andy Frasco in their mutual commitment to mental health advocacy. Frasco has long used his platform both in the studio, onstage, and on his popular World Saving Podcast to share his own struggles, empathize with others, and work toward destigmatizing the conversation around mental health in the U.S.

Big Something, meanwhile, is devoting its seventh studio album to “exploring the human mind.” In addition to the thought-provoking lyrical content and themes, each single release spotlights a different non-profit organization for mental health resources. With “Clouds”, Big Something is highlighting the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA) National Helpline ( 1-800-662-HELP). The referral and information service connects individuals and families struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues to local treatment facilities, support groups, and community-based organizations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The song marks the first studio collaboration between Frasco and Big Something, though they worked together onstage many times throughout their joint Royal Rumble 2020 wrestling-themed tour. “Clouds” also marks another first, as Frasco makes his directorial debut behind the camera of the Forrest Gump-inspired music video.

“I went to write with Andy in Denver and played him a rough recording of the instrumental,” Big Something singer/guitarist Nick MacDaniels said of the process. “It didn’t have any lyrics yet, so he was helping me think of ideas. We landed on the thought of ‘living in the clouds’ as a metaphor for addiction. And the character in the song is a close friend who may never come back down.”
