Cloudchord (Derek VanScoten) shared a remix of The Disco Biscuits’ “Lake Shore Drive.” The Disco Biscuits released the original Cloudchord-produced version of the song as a single earlier this year.
Bisco debuted “Lake Shore Drive” live on August 20, 2021 at the Northlands festival in New Hampshire. Arriving as a single on March 4, 2023, “LSD” was the first original studio song tDB released in over a decade since their 2011 album, Otherwise Law Abiding Citizens. A series of singles followed along with the band’s space-themed rock opera Shocked!
In an Instagram post last week, Cloudchord noted, “Now that [our] album is done, I figured I would go back [and] remix the first tune I ever produced for them.” Listen to Cloudchord’s “Lake Shore Drive” remix below:
