Having first launched in Melbourne in 2022, CVLTFEST will return for its second go-around in 2024, this time taking over the Eatons Hill Hotel in Brisbane. The festival – which is spearheaded and curated by local metalcore crew Alpha Wolf – has locked in a lineup that includes New York’s Emmure, Japanese outfit Crossfaith, fellow Japanese industrial act Paledusk, and local favourites Ocean Grove.
There’ll also be sets from a slew of rising Australian acts, including Newcastle’s Vilify, Taree’s Diamond Construct, Brisbane’s Crave Death, and more. Of course, Alpha Wolf will also step up for a set. Check out the full lineup below; you can sign up for pre-sale tickets now.
Emmure: ‘Flag of the Beast’
“Being able to present a night such as CVLTFEST is one of the most rewarding things we’ve felt we’ve ever been able to do as a band,” Alpha Wolf shared in a statement. “Being in a position to welcome some of our favourite acts from around the world to all share a stage with us in one mega night of incredible music feels so special to us.”
In 2024 we wanted to offer something new by bringing it to a brand new location, a place that has always felt like our second home being Brisbane, QLD. Everything that made CVLTFEST great the first time will be returning as well as much more, we can’t believe the world-class acts that were happy to jump on board and the amazing lineup we were able to curate, this day will be one that will get talked about for years to come as ‘that show’.”
