Oteil & Friends will deliver a late night New Year’s run at Fort Lauderdale, Florida’s Revolution Live on December 29 and 30. The shows from the Dead & Company bassist will follow the Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros concerts at Fort Lauderdale’s Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
Oteil Burbridge recently released an album of Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter compositions, Lovely View Of Heaven, which contained a posthumous recording from Oteil’s late brother Kofi Burbridge and was dedicated to his memory. Guitarists Steve Kimock and Tom Guarna, keyboardist Jason Crosby and drummer Pete Lavezzoli also played on the record.
Those musicians along with vocalist Lamar Williams Jr. and more recently completed a 2023 Fall Tour with Oteil & Friends and will also join the Dead & Company bassist for his New Year’s run at Revolution Live after Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros in Fort Lauderdale.
