Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will flock to Richmond, Stroudsburg, and Port Chester in early 2024, the psychedelic jam-funk band announced on Tuesday.

The Baltimore-based quartet will begin the new year with a pair of shows at Richmond, VA’s The National on Friday and Saturday, January 19th and 20th followed by a night in Stroudsburg, PA at the Sherman Theater on Friday, February 2nd. Finally, on Saturday, February 3rd, Greg Ormont (guitar, vocals), Jeremy Schon (guitar), Ben Carrey (bass), and Alex Petropulos (drums), will return to Port Chester, NY’s The Capitol Theatre. Both the Stroudsburg and Port Chester shows will feature support from Karina Rykman and her namesake band.

Tickets and VIP packages for the newly announced winter 2024 Pigeons Playing Ping Pong shows go on sale this Friday, October 13th at 10:00 a.m. ET. Artist pre-sale tickets will be available from Wednesday, October 11th at 10:00 a.m. ET through Thursday, October 12th at 10:00 p.m. ET using the pre-sale code “FUNK”. For all four dates, the band is offering “VIPPPP packages” that grant purchasers one general admission ticket, a personal meet-and-greet and photo with the band, a limited edition signed show poster, a commemorative VIP laminate, and early access to band merchandise before doors open to the public. For complete ticketing details, head here.

While the band is beginning to look toward 2024, it still has plenty of performing to do in the remaining months of 2023. After performing at Suwannee Hulaween in Live Oak, FL later this month, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will head to New Orleans, LA’s Tipitina’s (10/29) and Austin, TX’s Scoot Inn (10/31) for a pair of “Talking Radioheads” Halloween celebrations paying homage to the music of both Talking Heads and Radiohead. The band will continue west from there for a lengthy fall tour on the West Coast lasting through most of November, featuring support from Dogs In A Pile.

Pigeons will hit the road once again in December for shows in the Midwest and the Northeast before bidding farewell to 2023 with a two-night New Year’s run at Boston, MA’s House of Blues.
