Strange Soiree will return to Quakertown, PA this weekend for the festival’s third year with a lineup topped by Particle, Solar Circuit, Dizgo, and Flux Capacitor.
Happening October 13th and 14th, 2023 at the beautiful Morgan Creek Farms, less than an hour north of Philadelphia, Strange Soiree III will be the festival’s biggest—and strangest—year yet. Attendees will be able to take in the region’s beautiful fall foliage at its peak as they enjoy a mix of electronic, psychedelic, and progressive jam artists on multiple stages, silent discos, live art, camping, vendors, workshops, and more.
“I’m really looking forward to this year! It’s our biggest lineup yet, with acts coming in from all across the country, including Particle’s return from hiatus. Plus the first time as a two night event, so more time to add even more fun,” said festival founder and Solar Circuit keyboardist/vocalist Becca LeVan. “I’ll be doing 3 sets with Solar Circuit, plus a silent disco set as Necika (my psytrance project with Nick Orlove, guitarist of Solar Circuit). Oh and how could I forget, our first ever Solar Circuit custom craft beer by Funk Brewing launching at the festival!”
Solar Circuit is set to serve as festival hosts and will kick off the festivities on Friday the 13th with a special private pre-party for VIP ticket-holders. The jamtronic trance fusion quartet is fresh off its biggest national tour to date, which saw the group make its debut at The Caverns in Pelham, TN.
Additional acts include Squeaky Feet, Leon Trout, Tetracube (of Space Bacon), Muskrat Flats, Maantrala, and Necika.
“It feels like a long time coming for this year’s Strange Soiree,” LeVan went on to add. “We launched back in 2020, which was intended to be in person but as you know, the universe had other plans. We pivoted with the universe and made it a fully virtual festival. Then came back for year two last year which was the first in-person Strange Soiree PLUS it was my wedding day/reception! Nick and I got married that morning and then played Soiree with family, friends, and fans (and yes I played in my wedding dress, easier said than done). So as you can see, Strange Soiree is really close to me and all of Solar Circuit—it’s our brain child, an outlet to hand pick amazing artists we’ve crossed paths with, across a variety of art forms, and blend them all into one unifying, perfectly strange event.”
