Texas Eclipse, a new music festival set to coincide with a total solar eclipse on April 8th, 2024, has announced its initial lineup, with The Disco Biscuits, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Tipper, Vulpeck, STS9, Oteil & Friends, and more topping the bill.
Taking place April 5th–9th at Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet, TX, just 60 minutes outside Austin and two hours from downtown San Antonio, Texas Eclipse will offer attendees a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the wonder of totality together in a communal setting while celebrating with their favorite artists. Additional acts among the initial lineup include Ajja, Barclay Crenshaw, Big Gigantic, Bob Moses (Club Set), Boogie T, Clozee (Sunset Set), Desert Hearts, Dirtwire, Freedom Fighters, GMS, Kerala Dust, Lee Burridge, Level Up, LP Giobbi, LSDream, Martha Van Straaten, Of the Trees, Opiuo, Perfect Stranger, Snow Raven, Subtronics, Tycho, Zeds Dead, and Zingara, with more rounds of artists to be announced.
The festival will also feature interactive art installations, local food and craft vendors. camping, family-friendly fun, space exhibits, and interactive technology activations, as well as a range of workshops exploring the frontiers of science, wellness, sustainability, and Indigenous wisdom, with offerings including Consciousness Zone, Indigenous Elders Space, Sustainability Sessions , family friendly Science Expo, and more.
“We’ve curated an incredible mix of artists from around the world, representing diverse genres and styles, all coming together under the captivating backdrop of the 2024 total solar eclipse,” said event organizer Disco Donnie. “This promises to be an extraordinary experience where music, art, and technology and space converge in a truly unique way.”
“Growing up in Central Texas, it’s been a dream of mine to help create an event that celebrates a once-in-a-life experience and brings people from around the world to enjoy the best of music, art and culture,” added Mitch Morales, Texas Eclipse founder and head of Probably Nothing, who produced the event in partnership with Disco Donnie Presents. “The venue is unique and spectacular and I don’t think there’s a better place to observe the 2024 eclipse. I’ve admired the team at DDP for a long time and am thrilled to be working with them to bring this dream to reality.”
