Warren Haynes revealed the 2023 Christmas Jam lineup for his annual benefit concert at ExploreAsheville.com Arena in the guitarist’s hometown of Asheville on Saturday, December 9. Slash & Myles Kennedy, Billy F Gibbons, Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening and Clutch are among the acts who will join Haynes and Gov’t Mule in performing at the 32nd Christmas Jam to benefit Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity and BeLoved Asheville.
The event will also host a rare Tom Hamilton’s American Babies set featuring drummer Joe Russo and guitarist Jim Hamilton. Karina Rykman rounds out the initial Warren Haynes Presents: Christmas Jam 2023 lineup. Look for more artists and an array of special guests to be added to the bill soon.
“Christmas Jam is such a special event for me and my family and more than 30 years later, it’s still so exciting to see the dynamic talent that comes together for the community in my beloved home of Asheville,” explained Haynes of the long-running event. “After a few years off, following an extraordinary 2-night 30th Anniversary event, it felt great to return last year to continue the cause, which has and will always be: to have fun, play music, and celebrate being together while raising money for a local charity. This year is no exception. We’ve got longtime friends and collaborators, as well as new ones, on hand for a rockin’ and memorable evening, benefiting the housing needs of many in the region.”
Asheville area residents will have first dibs on tickets via an in-person local pre-sale at the Arena Box Office on Saturday, October 21 at 9 a.m. ET. Then pre-sale tickets, including VIP and Travel Packages as well as access to the pre-jam,

In other Christmas Jam-related news, Warren Haynes announced The Benefit Concert Volume 20 multi-CD/DVD/vinyl collections arrive via Evil Teen Records/Mascot Label Group on Friday, December 8. The live album/concert film documents performances from the 30th annual Christmas Jam, which took place on December 7 and 8, 2018. Performances from Dave Grohl, Eric Church, Joe Bonamassa, Jim James, Gov’t Mule, Grace Potter, Mike Gordon, Marco Benevento, Jamey Johnson, Edwin McCain, Kevn Kinney, Tyler Ramsey, Scott Murawski and Ron Holloway, along with Machan Taylor, Mini Carlsson, Mike Barnes, and Ray Sisk sitting in with Mule and songs played solo by Haynes are included in the compilation.
