Watch The Rolling Stones & Lady Gaga Team For Sultry ‘Sweet Sounds Of Heaven’ At Intimate New York City Concert

As reported, The Rolling Stones took the stage for the first time in 2023 last Thursday, October 19 at the intimate Racket club in New York City. The band followed a six-song set by bringing out Lady Gaga to help perform the live debut of “Sweet Sounds Of Heaven” and have now shared pro-shot video of the collaborative encore.

“Sweet Sounds Of Heaven” is one of 12 songs featured on Hackney Diamonds, The Rolling Stones’ first studio album of new material in 18 years. Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder are both featured on the studio version of “Sweet Sounds Of Heaven,” the LP’s second single and penultimate track. Hackey Diamonds arrived shortly after the concert ended on Friday, October 20.

The Rolling Stones — vocalist Mick Jagger along with guitarists Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood — were backed at Racket by their current rhythm section of bassist Darryl Jones and drummer Steve Jordan. Additionally, vocalist Chanel Haynes and Hackney Diamonds contributor keyboardist Matt Clifford were on hand to perform with The Stones at the cozy NYC venue.

Lady Gaga showed off her powerful vocals in dueting with Mick Jagger on “Sweet Sounds Of Heaven. Less than seven days later she finished off a big week of performing with iconic rock bands as Lady Gaga joined U2 for three songs at the Sphere in Las Vegas.
