Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band Eagles expanded their Long Goodbye farewell tour by tacking on five new 2024 tour dates with special guest Steely Dan. Each of the new dates are second shows in cities where the group had already announced plans to play last week.
The initial new show is a performance at Phoenix’s Footprint Center on Saturday, January 20. Also confirmed today are concerts in Austin on February 3, Chicago on March 9 and Toronto on March 14. Additionally, the Eagles recently announced a second show at Hollywood, Florida’s Hard Rock Live on March 2.
On Monday, November 6, tickets for the Eagles’ newly added show in Chicago will go up for grabs. Then, tickets for the second stops in Phoenix, Austin and Toronto go on sale next Friday, November 10 at 10 a.m. local time. Hollywood tickets are already available. While Steely Dan are expected to open all 2024 Eagles shows, the band pulled out of their support slots at the remaining 2023 tour stops to allow Donald Fagen time to recuperate from an undisclosed illness. Tedeschi Trucks Band filled in last night at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta and will do so again tomorrow at the same venue. The Doobie Brothers step into Steely Dan’s role as support for the rest of the Eagles’ concerts later this month.
