ULTRA Australia 2024 is happening at Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse on Saturday, 13th April. The companion event, ULTRA Beach, will set up at the Gold Coast’s Broadwater Parklands on Friday, 12th April. The first lineup announcement features many of the globe’s best-known and highest paid DJs, such as Dutch festival regulars Armin Van Buuren and Brennan Heart, UK hardcore veteran Darren Styles, and American house and techno legend Carl Cox.
Cox will be performing a hybrid live set at ULTRA Australia only, while everyone else in the first lineup announcement – which also includes EDM acts Zedd and Steve Aoki – will also be present at ULTRA Beach. Details below.
Steve Aoki – Live at Tomorrowland Brazil 2023
Several acts on the ULTRA Australia lineup appeared in DJ Mag’s top 100 DJs of 2023. Van Buuren came in at number five and Aoki at number eight. The immovable Carl Cox was listed at number 26, Zedd at number 47 and Heart was at number 79.
The ULTRA Australia lineup is set to grow considerably larger. Along with the Main Stage, a range of underground sounds will be showcased on the RESISTANCE Stage. ULTRA Beach, on the other hand, will be a single-stage event.
Organisers are promising there’ll be designated, shaded chill-out areas at the festival, plus plenty of food trucks from local suppliers and bars serving cocktails and other festival drinks. Tickets are on sale now.
