Melodic metalcore giants In This Moment and Ice Nine Kills brought their Kiss Of Death Tour to Atlanta’s Coca-Cola Roxy Monday night.
Joined by Avatar and New Years Day, the two bands delivered blood-soaked performances full of over-the-top visuals and onstage theatrics. In This Moment’s set included covers of Nine Inch Nails and Björk in addition to songs from the band’s new album, Godmode, released last month just before Halloween. The album includes a collaboration with Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas on the song “Damaged”.
Fresh off their first leg of dates on Metallica’s M72 World Tour, Ice Nine Kills recently released a new deluxe edition of their 2021 chart-topping album The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood. Along with the release, the band shared a new song, “Meat & Greet” and an accompanying Silence of the Lambs-inspired music video that brings the gruesome eight-installment Horrorwood saga to a fitfully disturbing end—too disturbing to post the whole thing on YouTube, apparently.
INK included the new song in their setlist on Monday alongside fan-favorites from 2018’s The Silver Scream like “Stabbing In The Dark”, “Your Number’s Up”, and “The American Nightmare”, as well as selections from the album’s 2021 followup.
