the best early black friday deals on fitness watches

If you’ve been waiting for a deal on fitness-focused smartwatches, they’ve begun to roll in. Amazon’s early Black Friday deals include several Garmin models, the original Pixel watch, and a budget tracker that you can snap up for under $15.

Garmin Fenix 7S Solar

Garmin has an excellent deal on several watches in this sale, including the Fenix line that’s beloved by long-distance runners. The 7S Solar has solar panels that can extend your battery life significantly: 11 days indoors versus 14 days if used outdoors with three hours of bright sunlight each day. (Using the GPS is more power-intensive: 37 hours versus 46.)

The Fenix 7S Solar includes heart rate, sleep tracking, and multiple navigation systems including GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo. It can store maps (many come pre-loaded) and has Garmin Pay. The sale Amazon is having today is the steepest discount we’ve seen on this watch all year.

Garmin Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar

This model is the 7S Solar’s bigger brother. In addition to a larger screen, it also has a built-in flashlight, scratch-resistant solar face, and SatIQ features to fine-tune the GPS for better accuracy. It also has nearly double the battery life of the 7S Solar, reaching 22 days with solar charging. Again, this is a fantastic deal compared to the prices it’s gone for this year.

Google’s (original) Pixel Watch, wifi version

The Pixel watch proudly combines Google’s Android-friendly tech with Fitbit’s activity tracking. This model has a round screen, GPS tracking, and wifi (no cellular connection, although that’s available on other models).

This is the original version of the watch, released in 2022; the Pixel Watch 2 is more recent, but isn’t included in the early Black Friday sale.

This LIVIKEY fitness tracker is only 15 bucks

Maybe you weren’t exactly holding your breath for $5 off a budget fitness tracker, but this LIVIKEY model is one of the cheapest and simplest out there. It tracks your heart rate during activities and your steps throughout the day, and even tracks sleep, with a one-week battery life. It even has a built-in USB plug, meaning the watch itself can be inserted into a USB port, eliminating the need for an extra cable. Not bad for a watch that costs less than some movie tickets.
