The Wood Brothers will return to the West Coast and Midwest for a newly announced batch of 2024 tour dates in support of their most recent album, Heart is the Hero.
Upon returning from a previously announced run of European dates, the Grammy-nominated American roots music trio will play an additional 18 shows from February through April, including a two night-stand at The Fillmore in San Francisco, The Fonda in Los Angeles, and Ryman Auditorium in their adopted hometown of Nashville. Rainbow Girls will serve as support for the first leg of the tour.
“We’ve been recording and touring now for 17 years and over that time our repertoire has evolved beyond what we could have ever imagined when we first started back in the early 2000s,” said Oliver Wood. “It’s been a really fun, creative challenge to balance the sets with songs from our earliest years alongside new material that reflects where we are as artists right now. It means so much to us to have our fans come back year after year and be so open and receptive to the music we present each evening.”
Tickets for the new Wood Brothers tour dates will be available starting Thursday, November 9th at 10 a.m. local time via an artist pre-sale with code: HEARTISTHEHERO. A venue pre-sale also begins Thursday at 12 p.m. local, followed by the general on-sale on Friday, November 10th at 10 a.m. local.
