Americana trio The Wood Brothers confirmed details of 18 new 2024 tour dates from February through April. The group consisting of brothers Oliver Wood and Chris Wood along with honorary sibling Jano Rix will focus on the West Coast for the first leg of the tour before setting their sights on the Midwest in April.
The Wood Brothers’ catalog continues to grow following the release of their Heart Is The Hero album earlier this year. “We’ve been recording and touring now for 17 years and over that time our repertoire has evolved beyond what we could have ever imagined when we first started back in the early 2000s,” explained Oliver Wood in a press release. “It’s been a really fun, creative challenge to balance the sets with songs from our earliest years alongside new material that reflects where we are as artists right now. It means so much to us to have our fans come back year after year and be so open and receptive to the music we present each evening.”
After starting February with a trip to Europe and the UK, The Wood Brothers featuring special guests kick off their first U.S. tour of 2024 at Tucson, Arizona’s Rialto Theatre on February 27. A swing through California comes next with stops in Del Mar on February 28, Los Angeles on February 29, San Francisco on March 1 and 2, Grass Valley on March 5 and Eureka on March 6. The leg ends in the Pacific Northwest for shows in Portland on March 7, Seattle on March 8 and Bellingham (Washington) on March 9.
The Wood Brothers go it alone for the second leg of their 2024 Spring Tour. Up first is a concert in Columbus on April 3. The trio then returns to the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on March 4. Next up are shows in Indianapolis on April 5, Fort Wayne (Indiana) on April 6, Madison (Wisconsin) on April 7, Iowa City on April 10, Kansas City on April 11 and Memphis on April 12. The tour is set to conclude with a concert at The Pageant in St. Louis on April 13.
