The Black Pumas served as the musical guests on last night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Co-founders vocalist Eric Burton and guitarist/producer Adrian Quesada led the Austin-based band through a performance of “More Than A Love Song.”

“More Than A Love Song” is featured on Chronicles Of A Diamond, the Grammy-nominated act’s sophomore studio album. The Black Pumas’ released the 10-track effort via ATO Records on October 27.

Adrian Quesada produced the long-awaited follow-up to the band’s critically-acclaimed 2019 self-titled debut record. Eric Burton co-produced the LP with Shawn Everett handling most of the mixing duties. “More Than A Love Song,” which opens Chronicles Of A Diamond, was co-written by Burton and Quesada.

The Black Pumas showed off their expanded live band on Fallon Wednesday. A series of home state concerts in Texas will be held in December with a 2024 tour starting in Philadelphia on January 18.
