Twiddle has shared an official aftermovie recapping the band’s final Frendsgiving run before the start of an indefinite hiatus.
“We love you all,” frontman Mihali Savoulidis tells the audience at the start of the video. “Thank you so much. What an amazing journey and incredible ride this has been and it’s all because of you. I know I can speak for everybody on this stage, we are so eternally grateful for everything we’ve experienced over the last 20 years.”
The eight-minute documentary gives fans a behind-the-scenes perspective captured by Twiddle’s longtime photographer and videographer Dave DeCrescente, with clips of the band hanging out backstage and playing to a sold-out Capitol Theatre with frends from Kitchen Dwellers and other special guests. The video also features messages from fans to the band. The universal sentiment? “Your music changed my life and this better not be the end.”
“While it’s very bittersweet, we’re so excited to present this wonderful aftermovie that we think perfectly encapsulates our final Frendsgiving shows,” Twiddle said on social media. “All of your words of love and support have touched each of us so deeply, and we’ll watch this back anytime we want to remember how special this community is.”
