Beats Antique brought The Metamorphosis immersive generative art experience to Mission Ballroom in Denver on Saturday.
After staging the live audio-visual art and dance experience at Red Rocks Amphitheatre last summer, Beats Antique took the show on the road first to Portland, OR on New Year’s Eve and then to Colorado, where the experimental world fusion ensemble brought its usual dazzling display of eclectic dance beats, captivating dancers, and psychedelic visuals.
Beats Antique will team up with Meow Wolf for a couple upcoming experiences including the immersive House Of Tarot at Meow Wolf Santa Fe and a specially curated all-night Danceportation extravaganza and “mini-festival” at Meow Wolf’s Convergence Station in Denver.
“You will enter a world where there is no stage and you are in the show, discovering yourself through a series of riddles, trials and tribulations,” the House of Tarot announcement read. “Each room is another adventure as Beats Antique presents their most intimate performance ever. Enter a singular experience with a smaller audience, and explore the unusual beauty of Meow Wolf while perhaps brushing shoulders with Beats Antique…or maybe that was just a trick of the light…”
