Nvidia and AMD have already made some big announcements at CES, unveiling new Super GPUs and desktop processors designed to make gaming and productivity even better. Not wanting to be left behind, Intel has also debuted 18 new processors, including a return for its “power-optimized lifestyle” T-series.

These new chips are part of Intel’s ongoing Raptor Lake Refresh, which is built around the company’s Intel 7 process technology. The company started launching the refresh back in October, and these newest debuts are just the icing on the cake.

The priciest addition to the enthusiast line, the Intel Core i9-14900K, prices out at $524 for a total of 24 cores—eight performance cores and 16 efficiency cores. The processor also comes with a P-core boost of up to 5.6Ghz.

The new i7-14700F will weigh in at $359 for 20 total cores, with eight performance and 12 efficiency cores. Its P-core boost maxes out at 5.3 GHz. Finally, the company also debuted new i5-1440F and i3-14100F, priced at $196 and $109, respectively. These two offer 10 and four total cores, with the maximum P-core boost hitting 4.7 GHz.

The company also debuted more mainstream-level processors which will include integrated graphics. They offer similar performances to those listed above, with minor differences in maximum P-core boost and overall wattage.

None of the performance claims here are mind-blowing, as Intel has been making them for over a year at this point since the 13th Gen Core chips were released.

If you’ve been looking to upgrade to a new processor, then the Raptor Lake Refresh won’t be the worst upgrade you can make. However, none of the chips showcased during Intel’s CES 2024 reveal are particularly staggering when compared to the competition.
