Ever hated autocorrect enough to wish for physical buttons on your iPhone’s keyboard? Your dream might just come true with a new keyboard case called “Clicks,” which adds physical buttons below your iPhone’s display. It looks quirky and makes your iPhone a lot longer than usual, but it also frees up valuable real estate on your screen.

Clicks has been launched by a company co-founded by Michael Fisher (MrMobile on YouTube) and Kevin Michaluk (the well-known blogger CrackBerry Kevin). Clicks is priced at $139 for the iPhone 14 Pro variant and its website claims that the case will start shipping on February 1. The company is also launching two more versions—for iPhone 15 Pro ($139) and iPhone 15 Pro Max ($159)—but these will ship “mid-March” and “early spring,” respectively.

The makers of the case say that Clicks does not have a battery, which wisely avoids making the iPhone even bulkier than it is. There’s a vegan leather grip at the back of this case to make it easier to hold. It has two color variants—BumbleBee (yellow) and London Sky (gray). You can place your iPhone in the case and Clicks’ lightning or USB-C connector will connect the keyboard to your phone. There are 36 keys on the case and it has the Command key, which allows you to execute several actions via keyboard shortcuts on iOS.

At the moment, there’s no way to test Clicks to see if using it is a nice experience and if executing these keyboard shortcuts isn’t hindered by the tiny keys. All we have for the moment is a nice promo video, which details why this case was made and whom it’s for.

This case has been designed for creators and its pricing reflects that. Most people may not be able to justify spending north of $100 on a case but creators will find it a lot easier to reply to comments, write captions, blog posts, novels, and many other things. If the case works as advertised, it could be useful for any task where the virtual keyboard gets in the way of your productivity.
