AC/DC will return to the road for the Power Up Tour, the band’s first tour in eight years, with Chris Chaney (Jane’s Addiction) in the place of longtime bassist Cliff Williams, who retired from the band in 2016.
Williams will join a lineup featuring guitarist Angus Young, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug, and singer Brian Johnson, who returned to record the Power Up album after sitting out much of 2016’s Rock or Bust tour due to hearing-loss issues, with Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses filling in for 22 shows.
The 21-show tour will travel through ten European countries, starting with two shows at Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany on May 17, and 21st. Following shows in Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, two nights at London’s Wembley Stadium, Paris, and more, the tour is set to concluded at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland on August 17th.
Tickets to the Power Up Tour will go on sale on Friday, February 16th. Watch the band’s tour announcement below and click below to view a full list of dates. For more information and to purchase tickets, head here.
