aespa – ‘Drama’
The world tour dates come after the group’s previous release, the mini-album Drama, which came out in November of last year. In a press release the band shared their statement on the album. “A showcases aespa’s vocal growth with a variety of genres including charismatic hip-hop, lovely bright dance music, and sweet acoustic pop. With this album, aespa brings a new chapter to their SMCU lore by writing stories on their own way through unique music and visuals – now breaking out from the trauma caused by a series of events with Season 1’s ‘SYNK OUT’ and ‘Hallucination Quest,’ and also the unknown anomalies in Season 2.”
aespa further added .“As much as we showed a new side of ourselves through these songs, I want it to also be another [form of] expression,” band member GISELLE said about their music and rise to fame around the release of Drama. “I don’t know if that’s the right way to say it. But we have way more sides of us to show.”
aespa concluded their statement by saying. “And to this day, we still haven’t been able to express ourselves fully yet. We want our MYs to know that, and to keep the anticipation. Just ’cause we come back, doesn’t mean our next comeback is going to be the same.”
The scheduled venues for the tour have not been announced by the band. Stay updated with Music Feeds for further updates and announcements.
