High Sierra Music Festival, one of the West Coast’s most unique and vibrant summer fests, has detailed the full lineup for its upcoming 32nd year, July 4th–7th, 2024 in Quincy, CA, adding Primus, Jerry Harrison Adrian Belew Remain in Light, and more to the already stacked 2024 artist roster.
In addition to Primus, who will return to the festival for the first time in 11 years, and the Talking Heads duo, joining the lineup are Cuba’s Cimafunk and Niger’s Bombino, as well as up-and-coming groups including Say She She, Eggy, Cool Cool Cool, Eddie Roberts & The Lucky Strokes, and Scott Amendola & the Sticklerphonics, High Sierra favorites ALO and the Floozies, and more.
These artists join the previously announced lineup of Ziggy Marley, Greensky Bluegrass with special guest Holly Bowling, Allman Betts Band, 2024 Grammy Award winners Larkin Poe, the California Honeydrops, Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives, The Polish Ambassador, Ghost-Note, Cris Jacobs Band, Steve Poltz, AJ Lee and Blue Summit, Sam Grisman Project, the Mountain Grass Unit, Big Richard, the Sensational Barnes Brothers, Dogs in a Pile, Melt, Holly Bowling, Jackie Venson, Handmade Moments, Magic Beans, Anna Moss and Nightshades, John Hertler & the Rainbow Seekers, and Fireside Collective and more, with most artists performing multiple sets throughout the weekend.
Serving as artists at large this year are Portland guitar wizard Scott Pemberton, who will also perform with his trio, and ALO frontman and reigning king of High Sierra Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz. And as always, the festival will host a number intimate playshops, once-in-a-lifetime collaborations, can’t-miss late-nights, and more unique musical experiences.
