Trey Anastasio Band trombonist and vocalist Natalie Cressman will hit the road with her musical partner Ian Faquini for a CD release tour with shows around the Northeast. The run will celebrate the release of their new album, GUINGA, featuring music by their musical mentor, Brazilian guitarist and composer Guinga, who plays on several tracks.
“It’s really special to me just bc getting in the studio with Guinga is the dream of a lifetime,” Cressman said. “The recording session was the day that i found out that James Casey passed away and so all the music we made is a huge tribute to his memory.”

The tour is set to kick off April 5th at Metronome at Nectar’s in Burlington, VT and make stops in New Hampshire, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Connecticut, and North Carolina before concluding on April 20th at Schaefer Center in Boone, NC—one of four shows opening for Snarky Puppy.
