The Disco Biscuits are back to save the day in the next chapter of the band’s upcoming space opera Revolution in Motion, out March 29th. The band shared part two of the story on Friday, featuring three new singles on a four-song EP and a visual accompaniment for the track “Freeze”.
Revolution in Motion, Pt. 2 includes “Times Square”, “Freeze”, the previously released “Tourists (Rocket Ship)”, and “Spaga’s Last Stand”. The band also shared a 3D comic book-style animation by Blunt Action for “Freeze”, which picks up the story from the previously released video for a medley of songs from part one.
As nefarious aliens approach New York’s “Times Square”, The Disco Biscuits and their fans are below ground at Webster Hall, blissfully unaware of the attack unfolding on the surface where the aliens are carrying out their plan to “Freeze” humans. Once they’re finally alerted to the ensuing chaos, Jon “Barber” Gutwillig, Marc Brownstein, Aron Magner, and Allen Aucoin rush up to save the day only to be abducted by the aliens. The video ends on a cliffhanger as the heroes lie unresponsive in species collection pods.
This latest EP takes recent live Disco Biscuits songs from the stage into the studio with slick results. Several of the songs from part two have become jam behemoths, including “Times Square” which The Biscuits fittingly took for a 37-minute ride during the band’s December 28th, 2023 show at Palladium Times Square. Fellow EP trackmate “Freeze” also made a splash during the band’s New Year’s Eve run with a 35-minute version on December 30th in Philadelphia, followed in the new year by a 28-minute telling in Crystal Bay, NV on January 26th.
“Disco Biscuits fans have been loving these songs for over a year,” Revolution in Motion collaborator Joey Friedman said of the new batch of tracks, “and while some fans have been able to figure out some of the underlying story, we think that when they learn all the layers to the narrative and the depth of the characters, they will have a whole new appreciation for these songs.”

The band will celebrate the album release by returning to New York City for a show on March 29th at Webster Hall. For tickets and a full list of tour dates visit the band’s website.
