The next era of Twenty One Pilots is upon us, so now we no longer have to sit in silence. The dynamic duo of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun have just revealed a brand new album will be arriving in just a few months’ time.
The genre-bending Ohio act’s seventh studio LP, dubbed simply Clancy, forms the follow-up to 2021’s Scaled and Icy and is set to reach our ears on Friday, 17th May.
Twenty One Pilots – ‘Overcompensate’
Alongside the announcement of the album, the duo are also getting ready to unleash its lead single ‘Overcompensate’, which will hit the internet in just a few hours at 5am AEDT (you can stream the official music video above once it goes live).
Cryptic clues recently posted by the band on social media suggest this new record will build on TOP lore previously explored across 2018’s Trench and 2015’s Blurryface LPs.
Pre-orders of Clancy are available now and you can suss ’em right here.
Meanwhile, Aussie fans will be hoping a new album means TOP might also be gearing up to return to our shores for their first Australian tour since 2018.
We’ll bring you more news as soon as we hear it…
