American actress and singer Audra McDonald is set to grace the Australian stage this May. The multi-talented performer will bring her concerts in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
Audra McDonald shared her excitement for her Australian tour via a statement. “I can’t wait to get to know the Australian audiences and experience these beautiful cities next May,” She said.

In addition to Audra McDonald’s theatre work, McDonald also captivated audiences on the small and big screens. Her roles in television dramas such as The Good Fight, and Private Practice, and films such as Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast have cemented her status as a beloved leading man.
Despite her busy schedule, McDonald’s continues to enjoy a successful career as a recording artist, she performs in prestigious concerts around the world and collaborates with major orchestras.
Audra McDonald’s talent has been recognized worldwide with six important Tony Awards, two Grammy Awards and an Emmy Award. She has also been named as one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people and was also awarded the National Medal of Arts by former president Barack Obama.
