You don’t get to where Josh Homme is in the music business without making a few friends. Throughout his nearly 40-year career, the Queens of the Stone Age frontman has worked with everyone from Dean Ween to Lady Gaga to Run The Jewels and beyond. On March 20th, the guitarist will gather up his friends, fans, and collaborators for a special “Josh Homme & Friends” benefit for his Sweet Stuff Foundation at The Belasco in Los Angeles, CA.
On tap to join the QOTSA/Eagles of Death Metal/Kyuss/Desert Sessions mastermind is an impressively diverse lineup of musicians and entertainers. Among the guests are Beck, Dave Grohl, Chad Smith, St. Vincent, The Kills, Matt Helder (Arctic Monkeys), along with Josh’s QOTSA bandmates Troy Van Leeuwen and Michael Shuman and Eagles of Death Metal’s Jesse Hughes. Also appearing are comedians Bill Burr and Sarah Silverman, tennis legend John McEnroe and his wife Patty Smyth, Magic for Humans host Justin Willman, and Vivant.

Tickets for the Josh Homme & Friends benefit at The Belasco in L.A. go on sale Friday, March 8th at 10 a.m. PT on Ticketmaster. Homme founded the Sweet Stuff Foundation in 2013 to assist career musicians struggling with illness and disability.
The L.A. benefit will fill a brief gap in touring for Homme and Queens of the Stone Age, who will resume a world tour in April. The swaggering titans of desert rock are out globetrotting in support of their Grammy-nominated album In Times New Roman…, the band’s first in six years.
