Sea.Hear.Now has announced the eclectic lineup of high-profile artists due to perform across three stages at the sixth edition of the Asbury Park, NJ music and surfing festival, set to take place on September 14th and 15th, 2024.

The festival’s first of two days will feature a headlining performance by Noah Kahan in addition to sets by The Black Crowes311The RevivalistsThe HivesGrace PotterSierra FerrellPeaches, Guster, Ziggy Alberts, Robert Randolph Band, Joe P, Passafire, and Sonic Blume.

On Sunday, Sea.Hear.Now will welcome Asbury Park, NJ’s most notable exports, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, for their first-ever official headlining appearance at the festival. While this marks The Boss’s first time topping the lineup at Sea.Hear.Now, his influence has always been well represented at the event, from Springsteen covers by a long list of performers to his connection with fellow Asbury local/festival co-founder Danny Clinch to his surprise appearance with Social Distortion at the event’s 2018 edition.

Springsteen is joined on the Sunday Sea.Hear.Now bill by Trey Anastasio Band, The Gaslight Anthem, Norah Jones, Kool & The Gang, Action Bronson, Gogol Bordello, Larkin Poe, Joy Oladokun, The Aces, Eggy, Bertha, Illiterate Light, Sunshine Spazz, and Rachel Ana Dobken. Of note, the Sea.Hear.Now gig is the first 2024 Trey Anastasio solo date to be billed as an appearance by the full Trey Anastasio Band rather than the slimmed-down Classic TAB, which will head out on tour this spring.

Between the two main stages at Asbury Park’s North Beach and Bradley Park, fans can watch some of the biggest East Coast surf legends catching waves. As the festival’s announcement explains, “The ocean will call the winner of this year’s Sea.Hear.Now surf contest.” In other words, whichever surfer catches the “wave of the day” will take home the prize purse. Competitors include Balaram Stack, Cam Richards, Sam Hammer, Cassidy McClain, Rob Kelly, Will Skudin, Pat Schmidt, Mike Gleason, Tommy Ihnken, Logan Kamen, Jamie DeWitt, Cole Deveney, and Audrey Iglay.

Other highlights of the festival’s offerings include the Transparent Gallery, which will feature artwork from participating festival musicians, a special surfboard collaboration, and pop-up performances in Bradley Park; Stoke Henge, the festival’s center of all things art, just off the boardwalk; the return of the Pork Chop-designed jellyfish/surfboard arch as the event’s visual centerpiece; murals by Ocean County-based artists Jay Mack and Tim Sramowicz; and a nod to legendary surf photographer Dick “Mez” Meseroll, whose work will be displayed along with local artists on the sand.

A ticket pre-sale period for single-day and two-day passes to Sea.Hear.Now 2024 will begin on Thursday, March 7th at 10:00 a.m. ET. Fans can sign up to receive a pre-sale password here.
