Deftones have just wrapped up an appearance at one of the biggest music festivals on earth, California’s Coachella. During a backstage interview at the fest, frontman Chino Moreno surprised fans with some tasty news: the band have a new album on the way.
Speaking with KROQ radio, Moreno revealed that all of the album’s music has already been recorded, and he just needs to finish up the vocals.

“We want it to be great. I think that’s most important. But it is coming, and, yeah, it’s really good. We’re really excited with what we’ve been working on,” Moreno told the station.
The forthcoming album will mark Deftones’ Deftones’ 10th studio LP, following on from 2020’s Ohms. The band last visited Aussie fans in December of 2022, where they headlined Good Things festival alongside Bring Me The Horizon.
Hopefully a new album cycle means it won’t be long til we get to see them again!
