Park City Song Summit will take over Park City, UT from August 15th–17th, 2024 for another celebration of the art of songwriting. The multi-disciplinary music and wellness festival will bring in headliners Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, My Morning Jacket, Mavis Staples, and more for a mix of live performances and intimate artist panels.
Other performers set to take the stage at the third-annual Park City Song Summit include Tank and the Bangas, Cimafunk, Anders Osborne and Jackie Greene, Eric Krasno & Friends (ft. Duane Betts, Jason Hann, Brad Walker, Jennifer Hartswick, Natalie Cressman, Nikki Glaspie, Jeremy Most, Tony Hall & Ivan Neville), Larkin Poe, Steve Poltz, and more.
In addition to three days and nights of live concerts, PCSS will also convene discussion panels dubbed “Labs” where artists and fans interact on dissections of creativity, mental health, social justice, recovery, and much more. Lab moderators and featured guests include Rateliff, Jim James (My Morning Jacket), Cimafunk, Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk), photographer Danny Clinch, Jennifer Hartswick (Trey Anastasio Band), Natalie Cressman (Trey Anastasio Band), photographer Jay Blakesberg, Larkin Poe, and more.
“Artists, songwriters, and creators give so much to their craft and by proxy, to us,” Park City Song Summit founder, Ben Anderson said. “How are we supporting those who have soundtracked our lives? How can we move this artist-to-fan relationship from the transactional to the truly supportive? At Song Summit, we believe it starts by listening.”
Labs for 2024 include “Regions of Light: The Toll of Heavy Touring & The Joy of Being in the Studio” with James and Clinch, “The Future – It’s Still Alright: An Epic Career” with Rateliff and Newport Folk and Newport Jazz executive producer Jay Sweet, “Dynamic Duo: From the Lens to the Pen” with Blakesberg and Poltz, “Brass Without Boundaries: Abolishing Gender Norms In Brass” with Cressman, Hartswick, and Hilary Saunders, and more.
For the second year in a row, the Canyons Village Amphitheater will host top acts including Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, My Morning Jacket, Mavis Staples, Anders Osborne & Jackie Greene, Larkin Poe, Eric Krasno & Friends, and many more. Other venues will also host afternoon and late-night performances to keep music going all day and late into the night.
