Reid Genauer, the singer-songwriter and frontman of Assembly of Dust and Strangefolk, will take over Boulder, CO’s Roots Music Project performance space on April 26th, 27th, and 28th for a run of intimate shows featuring songs and stories from throughout his prolific career.

Joined for the Boulder shows by guitarist Scott Law and Assembly of Dust bassist John Leccese, Reid will craft three unique, no-repeat setlists that will spotlight both his lengthy back catalog and his two forthcoming LPs: the Greg Loiacono-produced Angels & Alibis and a live record, The Promised Hour, which commemorates the 20th anniversary of Assembly of Dust’s acclaimed live album, The Honest Hour, with the second half of the band’s 2/2/04 live show in Troy, NY.

With a professional music career spanning several decades, Genauer has established himself as a prominent figure in the folk-rock scene, captivating audiences with his heartfelt lyrics and soulful performances. He first came to prominence as the frontman of Burlington, VT jam-rock outfit Strangefolk in the early ’90s and has maintained his involvement with the group despite its now-sporadic activity (the group last performed live in 2019 but has never officially disbanded). Assembly of Dust, the band Genauer formed in the early 2000s, has garnered widespread acclaim for its intricate musical style and magnetic stage presence. From intimate acoustic sets to electrifying live performances, Genauer and Assembly of Dust continue to inspire audiences with their timeless music and unwavering dedication to their craft. Look out for an extensive run of 2024 Assembly of Dust tour dates due to be announced soon.

Various ticketing options for the three upcoming Reid Genauer shows in Boulder, CO on April 26th, 27th, and 28th at Roots Music Project (4747 Pearl St, Boulder, CO) are available including a 3-night “VUIP Pass” that includes admission to all three nights, 3 pre-show parties with dinner and drinks for two “very unimportant” people; a three-night ticket; and single-night tickets.
