Terrapin Crossroads Presents will kick off its 2024 summer season with the inaugural Terrapin Roadshow, a new two-day music festival set among the stunning redwoods and eucalyptus groves in California’s East Bay hills featuring favorite musicians from the Terrapin Crossroads community.
Set for June 1st and 2nd at the intimate Bruns Amphitheater in Orinda, Terrapin Roadshow will feature a core lineup of guitar trio Grahame Lesh, Dan “Lebo” Leibowitz, and Stu Allen, along with ALO bassist Steve Adams, Grateful Shred drummer Alex Koford, and the multi-talented Jason Crosby (Jackson Browne, Oteil & Friends, Phil Lesh & Friends) on keyboards, with special guests to be announced soon, as well as other pop-up live music, and fun, colorful craft vendors.

“The old Terrapin Crossroads was a gathering spot for music and joy for years, and we feel lucky to be able to continue creating that in beautiful outdoor spaces around the Bay Area,” said Grahame Lesh. “There’s something about playing Grateful Dead music under the sky, among the trees, that just feels right.”
Terrapin Roadshow will open on June 1st with “Psychedelic Saturday,” which will feature two main band sets dedicated to the songbook and spirit of the Grateful Dead. That will be followed on Sunday, June 2nd by “Western Sunday,” when the band will “showcase their country and bluegrass skills during an additional two-set daytime performance” starting at 3 p.m. Fans are encouraged to dress up for both shows according to each day’s theme.
