After being forced to cancel their collaboration due to the pandemic in 2020, Trey Anastasio will perform with the Boston Pops this summer. The special one-night engagement will take place June 29th, 2024 at Tanglewood in Lenox, MA.
Presale tickets for Trey Anastasio with the Boston Pops will be available starting Wednesday, April 10th at 10 a.m. ET (no password required). Tickets will then go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, April 17th at 10 a.m. ET.
Trey also has an upcoming performance with the National Symphony Orchestra at Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA on June 25th, at the tail-end of the Phish’s 2024 summer tour. He previously performed with the National Symphony Orchestra in 2013 at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., though his orchestral collaborations go back more than 20 years to when he worked with Troy Peters and the Vermont Youth Orchestra on an arrangement of “Guyute” in 2001. He then conducted the Nashville Chamber Orchestra in front of a crowd of 80,000+ attendees at Bonnaroo 2004 and later performed with the New York Philharmonic and Baltimore Symphony Orchestra in 2009 before mounting runs of symphony shows with different orchestras in 2012, 2014, and 2017.
Phish is gearing up to make its Sphere debut and recently announced the four-night run will be the first shows livestreamed from the groundbreaking new venue. The band will host its first festival in nine years, Mondegreen, in August.
