BERTHA, the world’s first Grateful Drag band, will hit the road for the first time for the upcoming BERTHA Does America 2024 Tour.
Originally conceived as a protest against Tennessee’s controversial drag ban, BERTHA has hosted two benefit shows in Nashville, recently closed out Sand & Strings Festival in Mexico, and is booked to play a number of festivals including Cave Jam, Jam Cruise 21, Sea.Hear.Now Festival, and Newport Folk Festival. Now the band is gearing up for its first real tour, with stops in the Northeast, South, Colorado, and California.
The tour is set to kick off on September 12th in New York City before traveling to Hartford, CT on September 13th. From there, BERTHA will make stops in Asheville (10/17) and Nashville (11/2) before arriving in Colorado for shows in Boulder (11/21), Denver (11/22), and Fort Collins (11/23). The tour is set to conclude in Berkeley, CA on December 14th. Ticketing details have not been announced but will available on the band’s website.
