Bombay Bicycle Club have announced their return to Australia, playing a five-date headlining tour across the country in November of 2024. It will mark the Crouch End indie-rock band’s first tour here in over a decade, having last visited Australian shores in September of 2014 in support of their fourth studio album So Long, See You Tomorrow. The full run of dates, as well as ticketing information, can be found below.

Since Bombay Bicycle Club were last in Australia, they have released a further two studio albums: 2020’s Everything Else Has Gone Wrong and 2023’s My Big Day. The former came after an extended hiatus from the band, which saw them inactive between 2016 and 2019. The latter, meanwhile, was a guest-filled studio album: It contained contributions from Damon Albarn, Nilüfer Yanya, Holly Humberstone (on ‘Diving’) and Chaka Khan.

The band first toured Australia in March 2012 as the support act for Elbow‘s national tour. They played a selection of headlining shows while they were in Australia, which sold out and moved to larger venues to meet demand. They returned for their first headlining tour in January of 2013, which coincided with their performances at Falls Festival over the new-year period.
