[Originally published 5/13/24]: David Gilmour has announced a limited run of U.S. tour dates in support of his new album, Luck and Strange.

The Pink Floyd guitarist will play his first U.S. shows in eight years this fall starting with two concerts at L.A.’s Hollywood Bowl on October 29th and 30th, followed by two nights at New York’s Madison Square Garden on November 4th and 5th. He will also perform multiple shows at Rome’s Circo Massimo and London’s Royal Albert Hall, but the L.A. and NYC dates will be his only live performances in North America, according to a press release.

[UPDATE 5/16/24]: Gilmour has continued to add dates to his previously established L.A. and New York runs “due to overwhelming demand” since the run’s initial announcement. First, on Wednesday, he added a November 6th show onto the Madison Square Garden run. Then, on Thursday morning, he tacked on both a fourth night at MSG (November 9th) and a third show at Hollywood Bowl (on Halloween night, October 31st).

[UPDATE 5/17/24]: Ahead of Friday’s general on-sale, Gilmour added a fifth and final show on November 11th to his Madison Square Garden run.

The shows will come in support of Gilmour’s new album Luck and Strange, his first in nine years, set for release on September 6th. He will be joined by a live band comprised of bassist Guy Pratt, keyboardists Greg Phillinganes and Rob Gentry, drummer Adam Betts, guitarist Ben Worsley, and background vocalists Louise Marshall, Hattie Webb, and Charlie Webb.
