Hot on the heels of being announced on the lineup for Gold Coast’s 2024 Promiseland Festival, hip-hop icon Busta Rhymes has decided to capitalise on his first trip to Australia in more than ten years by adding a pair of East Coast headline dates to his Aussie itinerary.

The rap legend will be performing two headline dates this October, hitting Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Tuesday, 8th and Melbourne’s Festival Hall on Wednesday, 9th, supported by YG Marley, the son of Lauryn Hill and grandson of Bob Marley.

Busta Rhymes was supposed to pay us a visit back in March, supporting American soul-pop icons TLC on their CrazySexyCool 30th anniversary Australian tour. However, those dates were scrapped due to “unforeseen circumstances”.

As well as these freshly announced headline dates, the MC is also set to take the stage on the last day of the Gold Coast’s three-day Promiseland Festival, gracing a lineup that also features the likes of MiguelMetro Boomin, English rnb singer Jorja Smith, Western Sydney rapper Hooligan Hefs and an extensive selection of Australian artists such as KaiitVv PeteYoungn Lipz and more.
